We are Te Kona (Te Kotahitanga e Mahi Kaha Trust) a charitable organisation that has been serving our community of Kaikohe since 1986. Our purpose is to provide opportunities for whanau and hapu in the Kaikohe region to support them into work-related education, organising training opportunities, and creating job structures and pathways into employment.

We are proud to be a pillar in our community, providing a range of services and programmes that empower our people and help them achieve their goals.

Our training courses cover a wide range of topics, including nursery of native trees and horticulture, business and digital hub, drivers license training and testing, event and meeting rooms for hire, and much more.
